Hellion’s Maxxxwell Carlisle has released his 3rd single for his upcoming covers solo album.
The 3rd single from Carlisle’s upcoming solo album, When The Clock Strikes Metal, has been released. Featuring Frank Casciato (Shades of Crimson, Just Like Priest) on vocals, the track is a cover of Queensryche’s “Queen of the Reich” originally from their 1984 self-titled, debut album.
“I’ve had a great time recording these covers and this track is no exception. Frank Casciato brought his A-game and I think he really did the track justice. Plus, it was great to work with Frank’s brother Andy, who contributed backing vocals. “Queen of the Reich” has been a favorite of mine since the first time I heard it. I think it’s a song that deserves to be recorded again and again, in tribute.” – Maxxxwell Carlisle
The single features cover art by Jozef Klopacka.
“Queen of the Reich” is available on iTunes and Amazon.com and can be streamed on SoundCloud.
